OI808 is a high grade silicone pump fluid designed for ultra-high vacuum applications. The vapor pressure and backstreaming rate of the fluid are so low that the use of traps or refrigeration´s is unnecessary for many applications. The fluid is used in all types of diffusion pumps.

The chemical structure of the ONLINK silicone making it very resistant to oxidation and hydrolysis at diffusion pump operating temperatures. The chemical resistance gives the silicone fluid long life under adverse vacuum conditions. It does not react with metals, elastomers or normal gases found in vacuum systems. It is particularly suited to pump large quantities of oxygen gas in high speed pumps. It offers minimal backstreaming, cleaner running systems and less maintenance and fluid replacement.
